The Himig Singers have recorded 6 CDs since 1997. Four were
produced with the support of Ernie Ortonio and Polyfusion recording studio. These
CDs were all recorded in Davao City, Philippines.
The first CD, self-titled The
Himig Singers, was recorded over a period of 2 years from 1997 to
1999.
Mga Awiting Pilipino, Paskong
Pasko and Faith & Inspiration were
all put together in just 3 months in 2000, a lot of work, really, for amateur
singers.
Our latest 2 CDs, however, have both been recorded on tour, here
in Canada. Church Arise!, composed
of gospel tracks, was recorded in late winter of 2005. Our latest,
Christmas With The Himig Singers,
was recorded last August in our home church, Safe Haven Worship Centre.
